Addressable zone interface modules are intelligent 2-wire interface modules designed for use with the Honeywell Silent Knight® Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs).
Overview
Addressable zone interface modules are intelligent 2-wire interface modules designed for use with the Honeywell Silent Knight® Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). They allow a Silent Knight FACP to interface and monitor 2-wire conventional smoke detectors. Addressable zone interface modules are addressed through the SLC loop of the FACP. They transmit the status of a full zone of 2-wire detectors to the FACP. Normal, open, or alarm are the potential statuses of a zone. Addressable zone interface modules supervise the zones of the detectors and the connection of the external power supply.
