TBS Finger Scanner Accessories includes power supply unit, outdoor kit and vitreous body inset cover. The power supply unit is used for 3D terminals/stations. Additional protection against rain and light incidence for 2D/3D terminals/stations in flush mounted version used outdoor. The terminal must not be exposed to direct solar radiation as this might affect the readability of the display and thereby the user prompting.
The cameras / sensors of the capturing area for fingers are protected against water, dirt and possible damages caused by touching by a cover made of special plastics. In case of this cover being dirty or scratched, the reading quality of the fingers might be influenced. The vitreous body inset can be replaced on site. For a necessary replacement the 3D Terminal (f. m. and s. m.) must be opened.
