    SD500 Addressable Miniature Input Module

    SD500 addressable miniature input modules act as an interface to dry contact devices, such as water flow switches and conventional pull stations. Due to their small size, the modules can be mounted in a single-gang junction box.

    Overview

    SD500-MIM addressable mini-input modules are for use with the Intelliknight® fire alarm control panels (FACPs). SD500 miniature input modules fit inside a single-gang box.The input modules are designed to be used with pull stations, water flow switches, and other applications requiring dry contact alarm initiation devices. These modules are supervised, single input contact monitors. Using anend-of-line (EOL) resistor, they monitor for alarm contact closures and for open circuit wiring fault conditions. If a fault occurs in the wiring, the module alerts the FACP. The addressable input modules are programmed with a unique signal line circuit (SLC) loop address.
