    The SENS-RDR utilizes infrared technology to read the sensitivity of i3 and 100 Series conventional detectors.

    Overview

    SENS-RDR sensitivity readers are battery-powered devices equipped with an infrared optical interface for automatically reading data sent by smoke detectors every 10 seconds. They decode the sensitivity and status data and show the information on their LCD displays. The sensitivity reader may be used either as a handheld device or with a standard threaded extension pole.
